Episode 1: 5 days past ovulation
Episode 2: 6 days past ovulation
Episode 3: 7 days past ovulation
It’s day 8 after ovulation, which means we’re finally in the window of time where it’s not totally impossible to get a positive pregnancy test (albeit still super unlikely, not that this will stop me from peeing on everything I can get my hands on).
The last few minutes of this episode is probably my clearest and strongest summary of the entire notion of testing early to detect a pregnancy, and here’s a little bit of what else is in this one:
What are the best—and worst—pregnancy tests on the market according to the fertility girlies? (The best is this one. I’ll talk about why.)
How tracking your temperature after ovulation can really fuck with your head for no good reason
When does gathering data about your body around fertility change from helpful to a useless stressor?
The finer points of tracking your body temperature for fertility
What types of temperature chart patterns mean you’re pregnant and which mean you’re doomed? (Hint: they literally cannot tell you this.)
Is this whole series even a good and healthy thing for me to do, or is it just another way to obsess over the outcome of this cycle? (Do not answer that.)
